McCarthy is seeking a qualified and dedicated full-time Warehouse Operations Lead to support our construction materials yard and office team. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have excellent customer service and telephone skills, be able to juggle multiple priorities, and have a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise all daily warehouse activities (receiving, warehousing, shipping)
- Coordinate material and equipment orders and deliveries with Vendors, Yard, and Project teams
- Supervise all inbound/outbound shipments & verify proper documentation
- Inventory management, verifying logical inventory against physical inventory.
- Planning, Implementing, and monitoring the monthly cycle counts.
- Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products
- Supervise and develop associates in areas of responsibility by assigning duties and coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, and providing feedback.
- Communicate process opportunities and take corrective actions or remedies
- Ensures efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment.
- Maintain appropriate levels of stock items
- Maintain accurate timekeeping records
- Ensure the safe, clean, and efficient operation of the warehouse to meet service standards
Qualifications
- Must have 3+ years of related supervisory experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- High School Diploma
- Proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment, able to multitask, meet critical deadlines with an eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent team building, customer service, and communication skills (verbal & written)
- Ability to work with all levels of project staff and organization.
- Working knowledge of warehouse/ mechanical equipment
- Lift and move totes up to 50 pounds
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head

For Southern California only: the range for this position is: $26 to $32 per hour. This does not include possible bonus and other benefits which can impact total compensation.
