Senior Manager, Subscription Performance – Finance and Analysis

Position Summary

As a member of the EC+ team, you will play an important role in performance measurement and planning of a high-growth strategic program. The Senior Manager will also perform analysis to identify future areas of opportunity for the program to increase profitability and further growth. You will partner with Finance, Operations, and Loyalty teams to plan for and measure business impacts from EC+ program growth. A large portion of this role will be reporting and analysis – this includes communicating EC+ performance to partners and senior leadership. You will report to the Lead Director of Loyalty Planning and Analysis.

Your essential job responsibilities will be:
• Conduct ongoing results measurement and performance reporting activities, providing deliverables to Finance and retail partners
• Identify actionable insights from results to accelerate program performance
• Manage EC+ program P&L – track revenue and expenses, and prepare budgets and quarterly reforecasts for future investment requirements
• Develop and review business cases for growth opportunities and customer experiences (e.g., new benefits, partnerships) as they arise for EC+ program
• Improve process and efficiencies for financial management of EC+ program

For those within commuting distance, this is a hybrid role (in-office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) based in our Corporate Office in Woonsocket, RI.  Though not preferred, we will consider candidates living outside this area on a fully remote basis.

Required Qualifications
5-8 years of work experience with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, and conducting financial analysis to inform business decisions and strategy, analyzing trends to uncover insights and understand business drivers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, or Financial Services, OR retail businesses with focus on financial reporting, loyalty, analytics, or merchandising – Financial certification is a plus (CFA, CFP, CPA or similar)

• Effective communicator with proven influencing, relationship building, and presentation skills – advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and experience creating Executive-level slides is a plus

• Expert-level proficiency in Excel with experience querying and accessing data from large relational database platforms (Teradata, Oracle, SnowFlake, etc.)  – working knowledge of Tableau and SQL is a plus

• Experience with process automation, improvements, and standardization, ensuring enhanced controls, and delivery of high-quality results

• Have a teaching orientation, be patient and collaborative – a large part of your role will include contextualizing performance and educating partners on program economics and performance measurement

• Demonstrates detail-oriented and structured approach to work, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adjust priorities to meet deadlines – has a reputation for being reliable and accountable

• Maintains a flexible attitude, comfortable with the ambiguity associated with high growth programs

• Management Consulting or Strategy experience a plus

Education

Bachelor’s Degree with coursework in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Analytics, or Engineering

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$79,200.00 – $174,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
