Job Description Summary
The incumbent will play a critical role in maintaining regulatory compliance, mitigating risks, and promoting a culture of excellence and safety within the organization. This position requires a strong understanding of quality management systems, and regulatory requirements to maintain high standards and minimize risks.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Ensure the efficient functioning of all aspects within the assigned area
- Supervise, advise, and train personnel under his charge
- Assign day-to-day duties to the Quality & Safety Inspectors under his charge
- Liaise with internal departments, subcontractors and/or customers to analyse and review defects or deficiencies in maintenance practices
- Conduct investigation and facilitate the reporting of internal and external incident and accidents
- Conduct competency tests and the approval of personnel authorisation
- Perform audit and surveillance for compliance to the subscribed requirements
- Perform maintenance, review, and promulgation of procedures
- Compile and review reports in conjunction with Technical Records Office
- Vet and approve work documents
- Conducting data analysis and reporting of Quality & Safety related data
- Any other duties as directed by the Quality & Safety Assistant Manager.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
- Good knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 Management System and Singapore WSH requirements.
- Good interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Highly motivated and able to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player with a proactive attitude and a sense of responsibility.
- Candidates with Fire Safety Manager and Workplace Safety & Health (level B / C) certificate would have an added advantage.
