Position Summary
Join CVS Health as a the Manager, Software Development Engineer.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in developing applications using MarkLogic database and related technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- MarkLogic Skills: Proficiency in MarkLogic Server, including database design, development, configuration, and administration.
- XQuery and XSLT: Strong experience in XQuery and XSLT for querying and transforming data in MarkLogic.
- Data Modeling: Experience in designing and implementing data models in MarkLogic, including understanding of entity-relationship modeling and document modeling.
- MarkLogic APIs: Familiarity with MarkLogic Java API, Node.js API, and REST API for application development and integration.
- XML and JSON: Knowledge of XML, JSON, and related technologies for data representation and interchange.
- Performance Tuning: Ability to optimize MarkLogic queries, indexes, and configurations for performance and scalability.
- Security: Understanding of MarkLogic security features, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.
- Version Control: Proficiency in version control systems such as Git for managing codebase and collaborative development.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile development environments, including Scrum.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
- Team Player: Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
- Creativity: Ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Documentation: Proficiency in documenting technical designs, code, and processes.
- Continuous Learning: Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in MarkLogic and related fields.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is: $97,335.00 – $201,900.00.
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
