Support the Chief Quality Officer (CQO) and Deputy Director of Quality Resource Management (QRM) to build and implement the new quality data track under Data Analytics Infrastructure (DAI) programme.
To support NHG Leadership decision-making process that improve quality and safety of delivery system, you are expected to perform data analytics and timely reporting by accessing sources of data from the quality database, other quality systems (eg PRISM) and external reports (eg MOH reports).
You and the working team are to collaborate closely with NHG IT partners (iHIS) and institutions Quality Directors to manage and deliver the database or system and governance processes that facilitate the optimal delivery of patient care. You are expected to:
- Perform high level technical assessment of relevant key indicators reported in NHG cluster and dashboards
- Work with NHG institutions to prioritise and scope up the list of indicators, reports & dashboards, etc.
- Ensure the requirements of the stakeholders are catered for at the design and development/ testing phase, including the details of the technical definitions of the indicators and their workflow on how the indicators are generated and where they are reported.
- Identify and propose improvement to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the database/ system or workflow.
- Provide administrative support and provide relevant trainings or briefings to new users or group of users, upon implementation
Your will support performance indicators work by aggregating data from the system, conduct analysis, understand and communicate results and provide recommendations to various quality and safety workgroup or committees such as Quality Directors’ Forum and Clinical Board Meeting, focusing on areas with greatest risks or needs for improvement.
You are also expected to forecast and budget for new IT project and any enhancement or maintenance on existing system.
Other additional functions include assisting in other departmental activities such as Quality Day/ events; identify opportunities to collaborate with internal and external partners for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety related trainings, research initiatives and publications.
