1.Job Purpose
To build, maintain and manage the reputation and image of National Healthcare Group (NHG) through the execution of communication strategies/programmes using all forms of media and communications channels. He/she will handle a broad range of corporate communications functions which will include media relations, events management, and corporate publications as well as website and internal communications
2.MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Areas of Responsibility
Media Management
- Lead and/or assist with the execution of public relations initiatives and other events, including writing press releases, speeches and talking points, and articles for NHG publications.
- Manage press relations including developing positive media stories, media pitching, arranging briefings, interviews and visits, responding to their queries, as well as responding to public enquiries.
- Help cultivate and strengthen media relations.
Social Media
- Plan and execute social media strategies that attract and engage NHG’s audiences through the Group’s engagement platforms including Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and discussions forums.
Corporate Brand Management
- Responsible for planning and executing corporate branding initiatives on all platforms including digital media and ensuring accurate representation and consistency of NHG corporate identity across the Group’s events, activities and initiatives.
- Manage corporate website and ensure accurate and timely content and design updates.
- Conceptualise and execute integrated communications plans to support NHG’s events, initiatives, and programmes.
Project and Event Management
- Manage and support corporate events and exhibitions/tradeshows including planning, budgeting, venue sourcing/recommendation, and supervising external vendors.
3.JOB REQUIREMENTS
(a)Education/Training/Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications/Public Relations/Arts/Science
- At least 2-5 years of working experience in corporate communications &
media relations, or related
- Working experience in a media organisation is an advantage
- Excellent command of the English language, as well as writing, editing and
proofreading skills
- Proficiency in a second language is preferred (able to handle translation of
communications materials)
- Strong planning and organisational skills with good time management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A team player yet able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
