Close to Ocean Beach, OB Barbershop was started by Bay Area surfer Darin Wright. The shop recently moved to a larger location. They are known for a great atmosphere as well as showing surf videos.
OB Barbershop, short for Ocean Beach Barbershop is owned and run by Darin Wright, a local barber, and surfer. Originally from the Bay area, Darin spent years in Australia, Seattle, and New Orleans before finally settling down in San Diego. Darin spent time honing his craft in Del Mar, North Park, and Point Loma before opening his own shop in Ocean Beach. He is pleased to have expanded from a 1 person shop that opened in 2010, to the current location with 4 full-time barbers.
Darin, his wife, and dog Luna love the OB vibe and serving the 92107 and 92106 locals. Darin’s proud of his haircuts both for the detailed work he provides and the straight-edge razor work. Come see Darin watch a surf video and relax while Darin cleans you up.
