San Diego’s Premiere Tonsorium
Established in 2007, Barber Side started off as a private barber shop that catered to men only. In 2009 all that changed and Barber Side moved to a larger location in San Diego, CA and opened to serve men and women in the local community.
It wasn’t long before exclusive hand-made Barber Side products were in high demand, and Barber Side had to move production to a larger building. Even so, not a jar or bottle of product leaves the Barber Side warehouse without being individually poured, sealed and inspected by the owner of the company.

Always looking for ways to improve the individual grooming experience, the owner of the Barber Side barber shop began developing cruelty-free products for his customers with their health and safety in mind, and using only high-grade ingredients and fragrances.
Barber Side ensures that each and every Barber Side product is the exact right mixture, texture, consistency and scent before shipping.

I’ve always enjoyed the escape from reality at Barber Side. It’s just plain fun, and coupled with a superb haircut and free drink, I always leave happy.
One time admittedly I forgot to pay Marvin, the store owner. Later that day I came back and apologized. He said not to worry because he knew I’d spot him in the future. There’s a family culture at Barber Side, and the barbers’ equally capable talent never ceases to impress me.
