The worldwide Apple Retail Engagement & Marketing (REM) team defines, makes and delivers programs, campaigns, initiatives and experiences that help Apple Retail’s customers and teams discover, be inspired by, learn about and go further with Apple’s products and services, and does so in a manner that is true to our values. We’re looking for a passionate Market Research Analyst to work with our diverse team to focus on providing actionable, customer-centric insights and recommendations to the business as Apple’s Retail Stores and experiences continue to evolve! As a member of our Customer Insights team, you’ll support custom projects that leverage our customer experience tracking surveys, which continuously gather quantitative statistics and open ended feedback. You’ll use multiple internal platforms, external systems, and business context to transform data into timely, meaningful insights, through stories that inform and inspire leadership and our frontline teams to drive behaviors that continuously improve customer experiences.
Description
Collaboration with partners and team members to define key business objectives is key. Thoughtfully crafting your analytical approach, creating intuitive communications tailored to the audience to convey insights, and having the expertise to speak confidently about your findings and recommendations in email, in person, and when presenting to a range of audiences are essential to success in this role. You’ll partner closely with analytics and strategy teams to provide comprehensive perspectives. You’ll also be embedded with business partners across Apple, working closely on strategic initiatives to help drive what matters. Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with business partners, stakeholders, and leaders to understand what information they need to inform tactical and strategic business decisions. Determine and execute the best analytical plans to provide compelling, actionable insights from the “always on” Apple Retail Stores NPS surveys and via our ability to ask temporary custom questions in these surveys. Craft reports that succinctly, clearly, and compellingly convey insights so that the audience understands what they need to do to drive the business. Present insights compellingly to a range of audiences tailored to their needs (e.g. executives vs functional leads) and the method of communication, including in-person, virtual, via email, Slack, text, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
- Prior experience working in an Apple Retail Store as a Senior Manager+, with experience leading and doing roles across Apple Store areas for deep functional and culture expertise, OR 5+ years of Market Research Analyst experience within a Retail industry, with deep Market Research expertise with analytical focus partnering to drive business outcomes, and applicable business knowledge.
- Track record of driving business growth through data analysis.
- Experience managing multiple projects.
- Proficient using Excel to analyze quantitative and qualitative data, and Keynote to create compelling presentations and reports.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient with Tableau for analysis and data visualization, or equivalent tools, otherwise must be willing to learn via training, as this is a daily skill.
- Proficient querying databases and appending data using SQL and R or Python, with Snowflake, otherwise must be willing to learn via training, as this is a daily skill.
- Passionate about using customer experience and NPS data and analysis to influence others.
- Able to deal with ambiguity, finding flexible and creative solutions.
- Self-directed, motivated, and thrives in a fast paced, highly matrixed environment.
- Excellent time management.
- Able to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Enjoy supporting worldwide programs involving dozens of countries and languages with high visibility.
- Foreign language proficiency in one or more languages besides English.
- International retail and technology sector experience.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $115,100 and $216,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
