Job Description & Requirements
The NDT technician will be performing calibrations, Non-destructive Tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to approved procedures and record results, and with a team of NDT Engineers.
Job Responsibilities
- Set up, standardize and perform system check for non-destructive testing Method.
- Perform specific testing codes, standards and other contractual documents that are applicable to the Methods utilized.
- Interpret, evaluate for acceptance or rejection and document results.
- Actively work closely with NDT Engineer and participate in team.
- Observe all applicable safety requirements and the use of PPEs.
- Carry out other assigned duties as directed by the NDT Level 3.
- Follow safety regulations .
- Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
Requirements
- NAS410/EN4179 NDT Level 2 certification will be an advantage
- Relevant NDT experience in RT/PT/ET/MT/UT/IRT methods will be an advantage
- Min qualification Higher NITEC / Diploma in Engineering
- Must be able to pass vision acuity examination with or without corrective lenses and vision requirement for colour-blindness.
- Must be willing to work on rotating shifts / adhoc night shift.
- Willing to do overtime when required or requested.
- No Confine Space and Height phobia.
