What to Expect
The Collision Development team is looking for an experienced and dedicated individual ready to tackle problems impacting Collision Systems globally. The focus is to improve Collision repair databases/ systems to ensure the right parts are allocated to the right repairs. You will need to take initiative as an individual as well as pivot quickly for team goals and targets. Our mission: Accelerating the world towards sustainable energy by creating streamlined and scalable collision repair processes while working across boundaries to improve the future of Tesla Collision.
What You’ll Do
· Maintaining a 1:1:1 relationship between Parts, Procedure, and Metadata systems
· Support critical initiatives for Estimating platforms
· Maintain net zero backlog of update/ newly introduced parts to correction code mapping
· Identify inefficiencies within datasets and merge for streamlined operation
· Update outwards and upwards on performance and key deliverables to stakeholders
· Participate with a collaborative, inclusive, and respectful attitude in an ever-changing dynamic environment
· Possess the ability to manage time and projects to meet targets and deadlines
· Support all aspects of our technical operations
· Time management of multiple projects, simultaneously
· Learning and adapting to new computer software
· Complying with all of Tesla’s safety rules, guidelines, and standards
What You’ll Bring
- Vocational certificate in collision repair, preferred Tesla Experience
- Experience maintaining and repairing vehicles
- Strong understanding of parts and tooling nomenclature
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to think on your feet and love solving problems
- Physical ability to perform/ understand workshop tasks
- High attention to detail
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Valid driver’s license and insurance
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
- Ability to work independently in limited supervision environments
- Ability to travel domestically and international based on business needs
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs. and driving a forklift
- Must be at least 18 years of age

Expected Compensation
$60,000 – $240,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
