Job description:
- Manage and guide a team of material co-ordinators
- Responsible for the provision of aircraft spares for aircraft induction.
- Coordinate with customers, production, and planning staff to understand the material requirements.
- Responsible for liaising with Production, Customer, Stock Control, Purchasing, Receiving, Shipping and Freight forwarders to monitor and prioritise/ expedite all outstanding critical/ urgent aircraft materials required for the project.
- Perform analysis of all outstanding material requisitions and processing of back orders.
- Responsible for generation and distribution of daily outstanding material status reports all concerned parties. Responsible for generating, reviewing, and monitoring of project material status reports.
- Maintain the proper process flow via coordination between Customers, departments, and freight-forwarders to ensure on-time supply for all the material requisitions during aircraft maintenance check
- Liaise with production/customer to for resolution of long lead-time material demands
- Ensure appropriate approval from customers / management prior to spares procurement and/or check customer’s ERP system for stock availability
- Attend production meeting and identify spares that potentially impact the aircraft re-delivery schedule / work stoppage/ disruption to production schedules
- Support customer requests on material support and other reports when assigned.
- Ad hoc material and operational improvement tasks as and when assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- Knowledge of SAP is preferred
- Possess good interpersonal skill and a positive attitude to handle challenging customers and resolve tense situations.
- Able to work under pressure with a sense of urgency
