Job Summary:
The role of Disney’s Corporate Brand organization is to combine a deep understanding of our global consumer with strategies, initiatives, and campaigns to both protect and grow our brands and key franchises.
The Sr Specialist, Brand Development & Integration will play a critical role in driving the execution of our enterprise-wide YouTube initiative. The Specialist will partner with the Sr. Manager, Brand Development & Integration as well as other team members to implement strategic changes to The Walt Disney Company’s approach to YouTube while also playing a key role in the governance and stakeholder management of our branded YouTube ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, strategic thinking, relationship management and performance analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Business Initiative Execution:
- Support managers in tracking of deliverables and key milestones
- Maintain and track detailed plans with key stakeholders
- Enterprise-wide Prioritization & Strategy Development:
- Track priorities and efforts across branded channels
- Stay abreast of industry trends, audience behavior, and competitive landscape
- Support in the coordination of work across internal teams
- Monetization and Content Performance:
- Utilize YouTube analytics to track key KPIs for content and channel performance and incorporate into presentations to help inform decision making
- Identify key performance indicators and enterprise-wide pillars for content success
- Collaboration & communication:
- Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to share and implement best practices for content uploads, metadata management, and legal compliance
- Serve as the primary point of contact for managing the enterprise YouTube relationship
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of strategy, business management experience or related experience
- 2+ years of Entertainment experience
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- A proactive and positive attitude and a desire to get things done
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Experience:
- Digital content background
- Experience and familiarity of YouTube (Formats, Policies, KPIs, etc.)
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $91,900 to $114,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
