Position Summary
As a Senior Manager Business Analyst in Information Technology at CVS Health/Aetna, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment delivering innovative solutions. We are looking for passionate, driven person who wants to join our high energy and growing team to make a difference in customers’ lives.
Your responsibilities would include but are not limited to:
- Working with internal business units to analyze objectives and develop solutions to business need.
- Translating business needs into system requirements by creating specifications and screen “mock-ups” using, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Flowcharting software, etc.
- Employ several techniques when eliciting requirements from business representatives including interviewing and facilitating workshops.
- Provides input into developing and modifying systems to meet client needs and develops business specifications to support these modifications.
- Plans, designs and recommends business processes to improve and support business activities.
- Solving system related problems, such as malfunctions and program problems as reported by users.
- Working closely with Software Developers to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
- Creating project plans and driving projects to completion.
- Participates in technical reviews and inspections to verify ‘intent of change’ is carried out through the entire project.
- Independently managing multiple projects and priorities.
- Testing new features and functionality by creating test scenarios and measurements, verifying results and performing regression testing.
- Assisting technical documenters and Trainers as needed with software updates.
- Utilize Microsoft Transact-SQL for testing, trouble-shooting and providing data to business units on an ad hoc basis.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- 3+ years of experience creating / managing Insurance enrollment systems – Broker and Member facing
- 3+ years of experience creating requirements for Broker websites.
Preferred Qualifications
- Self-motivated to take ownership and accountability as the servant leader of the team.
- Highly organized to manage multiple tasks simultaneously adjusting priorities to meet deadlines while producing high quality output.
- Understanding of resource allocations and forecasting.
- Healthcare or Insurance industry experience.
- Proficiency in Agile collaboration tools including RTC, Rally, Teams, Miro, etc.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is: $79,200.00 – $170,800.00.
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
