The Sr. IT Contracts Specialist will work directly with IT stakeholders and key business partners to provide oversight, guidance, and execution for IT contracts. In addition, you will help to lead Skanska’s technology vendor evaluation process utilizing OneTrust. This role will work closely with Skanska’s in-house legal team for contract reviews and approvals.
Sr IT Contracts Specialist Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- 5 years of relevant experience in IT and business/industry, related to managing contracts and leading negotiation processes
- This position will develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of project contracts, including the terms and conditions, payment schedules, and scope of work.
- Lead negotiations with counterparties and manage legal agreements covering a wide range of transactions, especially customer-facing purchase agreements, subcontracting agreements, non-disclosure agreements, partnership agreements, and statements of work.
- Collaborate with the business development and legal teams to make the contract management workflow effective and efficient, including 1.) administration of a database of contract templates and work requests and 2.) appropriate resource allocation based on deal priority and deadlines.
- Proactively evaluate opportunities to shorten contracting cycles and improve contract templates.
- Develop strong working relationships with colleagues across departments and educate the business development teams on key contract terms in the various templates and the company’s document execution policy.
- Proven leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to produce effective presentations & materials to present with senior executives in the company.
- Experience utilizing Vendor Management System preferably OneTrust and Monday.com
