Job Details :

We are one of the largest concrete contractors in California, and we are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Sr.

Estimator to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity for an individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers to play a pivotal role in our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of estimating, including take-off, procore, bluebeam, and cost estimation.

This position is an integral part of our finance team and will contribute significantly to the success and growth of our company.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct comprehensive cost estimates on a variety of commercial construction projects, including but not limited to commercial concrete, podium, and structural estimating.
• Utilize advanced software tools such as Procore and Bluebeam for project management and estimation.
• Work closely with the Preconstruction team to develop and refine estimates during the design-build process.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to gather detailed information about projects.
• Prepare and present detailed and well-documented estimation reports to stakeholders.
• Review and interpret project plans, requirements, and specifications to understand the project scope.
• Act as a “Precon Manager,” managing and coordinating all preconstruction activities and ensuring that all estimates are accurate, competitive, and profitable.
• Continuously monitor industry trends and pricing to ensure our company remains competitive in the marketplace.

Qualifications :

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role, such as Commercial Concrete Estimator, Senior Estimator, or Preconstruction Estimator.
• Proven experience in estimating, takeoff, procore, bluebeam, podium estimating, structural estimating, and cost estimating.
• Strong familiarity with the commercial preconstruction process and preconstruction estimating.
• Experience in a design-build estimating environment is highly desirable.
• Excellent numerical skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in industry-standard software tools such as Procore and Bluebeam.
• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
