Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Designing and implementing advanced statistical algorithms to run at scale for experimentation with focus on marketing, Machine Learning (ML), model evaluation and product improvement. Designing and presenting documentation and training courses for the principles and practices of AB testing. Adopting and designing experiments in the complex Artificial Intelligence (AI) based linguistic/assistance space by partnering with product and engineering teams. Conducting analysis by using data-querying skills in both on-client and server data bases such as Swift, SQL, and Python. Partnering with product data scientists and engineering teams on their experiments. Training product data scientists and engineering teams on the logic and requirements for successful testing. Working closely with A/B Experimentation Platform Engineering to ensure the platform is tuned correctly. Understanding Siri by conducting and analyzing AB tests. Use statistical analysis of structured data to deepen our understanding of how hundreds of millions of people use Siri across an array of products. Investigate world-wide product usage to identify weaknesses and opportunities to make the product better. Define metrics and design A/B tests with instrumentation to assess the success of new features. Build relationships with Engineering leads and product partners across the Siri product ecosystem to drive a privacy-first strategy for analytical insight. Employ a diverse toolkit of rigorous analytical approaches, methodologies, frameworks, and technical strategies to uncover opportunities to improve Siri. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 – $264,200/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Statistical Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- 3 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
- Designing complex experimentation use cases
- Statistical analysis with hypothesis testing, confidence interval, or linear/non-linear regression
- Use SQL to analyze and extract insights from terabytes of user behavior data
- Processing and analyzing complex experimentation scalable data using Python
- Utilizing Machine Learning to identify patterns in complex experimentation and observational study data
- Utilize artificial intelligence to create documentation for experimentation
- Leveraging AI/ML (e.g., LLM, RLHF) and data engineering (e.g., Airflow) techniques to automate analytics workflows and enable scaling
