Software Developer (Kansas City)

Description

This candidate will join our Information Technology department and work directly with the business to provide high-quality project consultation for Monday.com. We are looking for an organized professional to apply self-initiative, technical quality and creativity, with a strong emphasis on customer commitment, industry best practices, and continuous improvement.

• Analyze commercially available software and perform gap analysis for buy vs. build decisions.
• Apply critical thinking to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.
• Participate in planning and design sessions with internal business units.
• Follow best practices to influence design and business processes.
• Execute ongoing release management to ensure an informed, efficient, and confident user base.
• Perform technical analysis of existing reusable software components for inclusion in solution.
• Lead code review sessions for artifacts delivered by partners.
• Ensure customizations and plugins are well documented.
• Develop custom components based on user requirements when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or applicable years of experience in lieu of degree.
• 4 years developing business-user-facing applications.
• Monday.com admin certification strongly preferred.
• Monday.com APi certification strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of server-side technologies such as Node.js, Java, Python, or Ruby.
• Experience with React (preferred).
• Familiar with Git, Agile methodologies and ability to work with databases such as SQL, Dataverse.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to connect technology solutions to business needs.
• Ability to work independently.
