What to Expect

As a Material Coordinator at our project site, you will be responsible for the efficient coordination, management, and integrity of project materials, including those supplied and installed by third-party contractors. Your role will involve overseeing on-site deliveries and shipments, ensuring the accurate allocation and distribution of materials, and maintaining data integrity within the Materials Management System. Collaboration with various project stakeholders, including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Contractors, Suppliers, and third-party contractors, is essential to your success.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of project materials at the project site.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to support workface planning, logistics, and workforce needs.
• Collaborate closely with third-party contractors to ensure the seamless supply and installation of their materials.
• Maintain the integrity of all digital-based material management functions, including identification, quantification, allocation, and location of materials.
• Support data requirements for materials planning, receipt, storage, custody, and issuances.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Contractors, Suppliers, and third-party contractors to coordinate material-related activities.
• Identify areas for continuous improvement in material coordination processes and procedures.
• Provide progress and status reports to support project coordination and decision-making.
• Monitor the quality and productivity of the Materials Management System of Record.
• Provide expertise on best practices and troubleshooting techniques to ensure reliable data integration.

What You’ll Bring

• Previous experience in material coordination or commercial parts distribution. 
• Strong Proficiency in Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
• Problem-solving skills to address coordination challenges.
• Ability to monitor and ensure data accuracy and quality.
