What to Expect

At Tesla Brooklyn Park, we design, build, and service highly automated, high-volume manufacturing machinery that helps Tesla accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.  Our location is currently looking for a highly motivated, “hands-on” individual Shipping and Receiving Associate.  The role includes shipping and receiving of every part and piece of equipment into and out of our site and maintaining inventory control using the company ERP system.

We have one position available on first shift, Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM.  Additional hours may be required as needed. 

What You’ll Do

• Demonstrate a high level of ownership to ensure our team is not held up for any reason
• Data entry into ERP system 
• Sort, label, and repack parts 
• Coordinates with team to ship large scale shipments to our parent facilities 
• Organizing incoming parts on to designated project carts/bins/racking 
• Maintaining organized inventory 
• Suggestions on improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency 
• Expediting to ensure on-time deliveries 
• General filing & maintenance of files
• Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies 
• Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products 
• Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments 
• Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables 
• Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude 
• Engages and operates with a high level of integrity and reliability

• 1 year logistics experience 
• Must be motivated individual in achieving excellence 
• Must have excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
