Overview
Flatiron is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to recruit top talent for the organization. In this role, you will work closely with other members of the Talent Acquisition team, Human Resources, and business leaders to ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
What you will be doing
- Works closely with business to identify talent needs and source top talent for business objectives. Uses passive candidate engagement tactics to source top talent and creates a talent pipeline for business to utilize for future needs.
- Understands role specifications and successful candidate qualifications before posting each positions to ensure sourcing efforts align with business objectives.
- Sources candidates for current and future opportunities using various tools, networks and methodologies. Prescreens candidate resumes to identify top talent for the identified business needs and submits recommendations to hiring management team for their consideration.
- Owns the full candidate experience from first contact to offer letter acceptance. Oversees interview scheduling, hiring manager feedback, offer letter creation and verbal offer discussions. Supports Human Resources with pre-employment testing and first day preparation, as needed.
- Communicates clear expectations to all candidates and business leaders regarding Company process, approvals, and timeline. Maintains clear communication with candidates and business leaders to ensure all parties understand the status of each posting in a timely and compliant manner.
- Perform additional assignments per management’s direction.
- Supports team to ensure all candidates receive positive candidate experience, as needed.
- Maintains knowledge of Flatiron’s company values and strategic plan.
- Supports the Talent Acquisition team with social media, marketing, and employer branding initiatives.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 3+ years’ experience in Talent Acquisition required.
- Agency recruiting experience strongly preferred.
- Recruitment expeirence in the heavy civil construction industry stongly preferred.
- Technical recruiting experience strongly preferred.
- Strong sales and relationship management skills required.
- Strong construction industry knowledge preferred.
- Strong technical recruiting knowledge and skills required.
- Strong networking skills required.
- Significant experience influencing leaders across various departments.
- Relationship management skills.
- Able to develop and maintain business relationships.
- Takes initiative to learn Company industry, competitors and innovative talent attraction strategies.
- Exceptional verbal, written and personal communication skills.
- Able to manage change in a fast-paced team environment.
- Takes personal ownership and initiative with assigned tasks.
- Technologically savvy and interest in learning business collaboration tools, including web based data and live streaming systems.
- Highly organized and maintains a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work comfortably with people at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to provide creative solutions to complex recruiting challenges.
- Comprehensive understanding of OFFCP compliance requirements.
