CVS Health is seeking an experienced, analytically minded professional to join our Digital team. The Senior Manager will be primarily responsible for analyzing and orchestrating financial and labor management activities related to the management of our lean portfolio of digital products and strategic programs.
This role will be focused on our set-up, management, and capital labor resource tracking in the spirt of ensuring we’re allocating and forecasting capacity against our budgets into the right places across our portfolio.
Data savvy, this person can dive deep into the data, develop reports, ensuring accuracy, and possess the ability to observe insights and patterns on what’s reviewed.
Responsibilities include:
- Plan and execute high-level project setup, resource assignment and financial oversight in Clarity for capital projects.
- Review and analyze weekly & monthly reports to identify risks and/or anomalies. Address issues directly or through coordinated efforts with Product Offices and Agile Transformation Office (ATO) partners. Utilize key systems like Clarity, Rally, Digital’s roster database, and other tools to present actionable data insights. Aligns on labor spend allocations and budget risks with product and finance partners. Attends weekly business financial meetings to understand business goals and applies this understanding to recommend / explore options to address issues. Supports all Digital solution trains & non-solution areas
- Addresses and resolves ad-hoc questions related to reported data, processes and process guidelines. Answers may require detailed data analysis, documenting results and generating proposals / options under consideration to address or improve our reporting. May require gathering input from multiple business users, tools, and building ad-hoc workbooks/analysis frameworks to support the analysis.
- Manage the data tracking and financial planning analysis for the Enterprise Annual Planning process in preparation for development labor time tracking in our Project Portfolio Management tool. Activities may include providing templates to track estimates for new initiatives/scenarios; validation & cross-checking within Digital business unit submissions to inform Digital’s capital budget set-up. Maintain source of truth for the data as well as historical references. Includes annual work to refresh the set-up tools for the next year.
Required Qualifications
- 7-10 years overall related experience
- 5+ years overall technology delivery management experience
- 5+ years’ experience working in Excel, including proficiency with advanced formulas, pivot tables and financial models
- 3-5 years of experience in roles requiring strong ability to drive collaborative discussions and decisions with key stakeholders, and demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally
- 1-3 years of experience with portfolio management tools like Clarity

- Experience working with modern data analytics and reporting tools (Business Objects, Tableau, Power BI)
- Strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline driven work environment, attention to detail

- Previous experience as a Program Manager, Portfolio Manager, Release Train Engineer, or similar role

Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is: $132,250.00 – $260,000.00.
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
