Senior / Patient Service Associate (Cardiology)

Support the functions of the Cardiac centre and any other duties as assigned by the supervisor. The individual will work very closely with the in-charges in the Cardiac Centre and other team members from clinical services and clinical operations teams.

While the campus is under construction, you may be deployed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) and/or Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. However, you will be working in the new Woodlands Health Campus once it is operational (estimated 2023).

During your deployment to TTSH/KTPH, you will:

• Be part of the team assisting patients with activities such as patient registration, payment, financial counselling, appointment scheduling, and assisting clinicians.

At the new Woodlands Health Campus (WHC), you will:

• Support WHC’s transition to the new campus and be part of the WHC’s operation team to ensure efficient operations in the cardiac centre and deliver good patient service
• Perform good patient service duties which will include:
• Roving patient service duties – Assist and anticipate patient’s service needs, assist in the use of self-service stations or mobile apps
• Counter duties – Provide financial counselling, billing of procedures, create admission for the day case patients, etc
• Administration duties- manage phone and email enquiries, call and remind patients of scheduled procedure for the next day, order consumables/supplies/stationery, etc

Requirements

• NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in frontline customer service preferred
• Patient-oriented and will go the extra mile to enhance patient experience
• Driven, willing to learn and embrace change
• Team players, able to foster strong relationships at all levels and across various departments and institutions
