Job Summary:
Disney Entertainment is seeking a Senior Manager for Disney+ Content Finance team that will primarily lead the team through the execution of standard forecasting cycles and provide ad hoc analyses for broad business support scenarios. This role will interface with a wide variety of partners from DTC Finance, Disney+ Programming, Disney Entertainment, Corporate, and the Regional teams of the Company. You will work closely with key stakeholders in these areas to set Disney+ content financial plans while establishing clear communication and aligned objectives throughout the fiscal year. - Own the administrative execution and consolidation of quarterly forecasts, annual operating plans, and long-range plans for Disney+ Content
- Oversee team responsible for the budgeting of DTC Originals, International Local Content, Content Localization, and Content Overhead
- Execute ad hoc analyses across the broad portfolio of Disney+ in direct support of senior Disney leadership
- Develop and mentor multiple Managers and Senior Analysts with a focus on growth mindset
- Collaborate with Disney Entertainment and Regional DTC FP&A teams to oversee and communicate content investment and P&L forecasts
- Partner with Programming, Content Planning & Analysis, and other global teams to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Create, improve, and maintain department financial reporting tools and processes
- Partner with Controllership teams across the company to set up reporting structures and interpret changes in content accounting treatment
- Stay up to date on SVOD industry trends amidst a rapidly changing landscape
Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:

- Execute ad hoc analyses across the broad portfolio of Disney+ in direct support of senior Disney leadership
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant experience ideally in entertainment, as well as at least 2 years of Management experience with direct reports
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues
- Expert knowledge of Excel, including building models from the ground up
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to summarize ideas and issues to Executive management
- Strong attention to detail without losing sight of broader objectives
- Ability to drive and implement process improvements across key activities
- Ability to work well in teams, both within the group and also with other business units
- Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
- SAP and Cognos experience is a plus
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects at the same time, while keeping management properly informed
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required (emphasis in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred), CP&A or MBA is a plus
The hiring range for this position in CA is $148,140.00-$181,060.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
