Job Description

• Oversee all tasks of the claiming process for past and current complaints and warranty costs, and assure proper and timely execution
• Continuous process improvement to reduce warranty claims in line to meet business objectives
• Be responsible for the Analysis of Warranty data and communicating with cross functional teams to make data driven decisions
• Understand and accommodate the short /mid/ long term requirements of the warranty team.
• Responsibile to provide regular updates of all Warranty Metrics to Senior Management team supported by a clear reporting of the management of warranty cases.
• Day to day management of team members who are direct reports to Warranty Manger to meet committed departmental objectives and deliverables.
• Responsible for the reporting the current position and management of Warranty Cost
• Attend monthly customer meeting and report warranty status including contention cases.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or 3 years related experience with an Associate’s Degree
• OEM Automotive/Land System industry experience desirable
• Experienced in OEM Warranty management, project management, influencing key stakeholders and creating substantial outcomes
• Ability to interpret and analyse complex numerical and financial data
• Ability to influence and engage at all levels to order to maximise Aftersales voice of Customer
• Ability to manage time effectively and clearly prioritise tasks for self and team in a dynamic and change-oriented environment
• Exceptional understanding of contractual warranty obligations
• High levels of customer service
• Nurture and maintain good working relationships with customers, colleagues, and third-party companies
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with a proven track record of managing business warranty systems
• Preferably equipped with practical applied experience and / or certifications in Quality Technology disciplines such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, SPC, Design of Experiments, Quality System Certifications of TS 16949 and Auditing
• Solid interpersonal verbal and written communication skills required
