Job requirements
- Perform and certify aircraft maintenance duties for various aircraft types, including carrying out Inspection, functional test, troubleshooting, supervision and buying back of work performed by mechanics in servicing, modication and replacement of aircraft parts in Base Maintenance
- Read and interpret manufacturers’ and airlines’ maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components
- Deliver and oversee aircraft inspections, modifications, maintenance tasks, repairs, within license scope
- Sign-off all tasks performed and comply with Airworthy Release
- Document and record work performed on the aircraft
- Comply with all Aviation Security, Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety (SQEHS) and airworthiness requirements
Requirements
- Hold an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License (AMEL) issued by the civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) or a foreign equivalent license recognized by CAAS or an FAA A&P certificate or professional licenses relating to aviation.
- Minimum 6 years working experience in aviation industry, in similar job scope.
