The Hardware Producer team develops product-accurate digital imagery that is used across visual marketing. These images are distributed throughout Marcom, so Hardware Producers have the opportunity to work with various cross-functional teams, contributing to launch campaigns across multiple platforms.
Description
The Senior Hardware Producer will lead their product category in all respects, being responsible for the creative partnership with the Product Art Directors (AD) and relationship with all stakeholder teams to deliver large volumes of imagery on time and on budget. This role will also provide guidance to more junior Hardware Producers, cross-category. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Lead planning, kickoff, production and delivery of hundreds of digital hardware images across the year. Lead the briefing, creation and timely delivery of this imagery to functional teams. Own budget management: lead production kickoff decks to acquire estimates, manage top-down financial tracking, ensure POs/ invoices/ financial forecasting elements are completed timely and properly, and proactively communicate potential overages or budgetary challenges to leadership and vendors. Act as the subject matter expert and the critical partner with the Product AD to assess issues during production. Actively work with Product AD and fellow Hardware Producers to develop the best creative practices and standards for your product category. Lead long-term forecasting efforts, across quarters and financial years, based on roadmap needs.
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years experience supporting creative production teams.
- A consistent track record leading the creative development process and deliverables in a variety of complex materials.
- Experience working with creative Computer Graphic (CG) methodologies across numerous tools, for example; Maya, Nuke, After Effects and Photoshop.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise with 3D digital workflows as they relate to 2D stills image creation, 3D Asset creation, and CG animation.
- Able to creatively evaluate, judge, and influence vendors’ work.
- A history of developing strategic relationships with key external stakeholders, understanding product development, and ability to speak knowledgeably to its representation in Marketing materials.
- A curiosity and passion for building new processes to support the creative process.
- An eye for opportunities to bring new efficiencies and optimization of day-to-day workflows.
- You are able to bring levity to daily challenges that keeps the team motivated and feeling supported and strong, keeping a sense of humor and solid self-awareness.
- Understanding of creative processes and nuances in order to accurately evaluate timelines as prioritized by internal and external partners.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while balancing many projects at once.
- A consistent record demonstrating writing and presentation skills.
- A history of building rapport and credibility, and collaborating well with senior and junior roles, internally and across an organization.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $179,000 and $269,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
