JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Executive / Executive will be under Department of Infectious Disease Research & Training Office (IDRTO) from National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID). The Senior Executive / Executive will be carrying out a variety of research administrative functions to support the Tripartite Programme, a joint initiative, by National Health Group (NHG), Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) and National Technological University’s Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) in infectious diseases research.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SPECIFIC
The Senior Executive / Executive will:
- Assist with pre- and post- award research grants administration activities, these include administer of grant calls, support grants application submission and review process, organize review panel meetings, award processing and post grant award requests including closing.
- Facilitate procurement/purchasing, processing of claims/reimbursements, closure of completed research projects and reporting outcomes to stakeholders.
- Monitor grant budget and utilization.
- Facilitate timely review and execution of research agreements.
- Work closely with various stakeholders including the Principal Investigators, A*STAR, LKCMedicine, institutional research offices and finance.
- Monitor and track research progress, and KPIs for all grants under Tripartite Programme. Apply, fine tune, and improve research administrative support processes and workflows with the objective of supporting Tripartite Programme research initiatives.
- Provide support for research related meetings/events organized under Tripartite Programme.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
- Minimum Bachelor Degree with at least 2-3 years of relevant working experience preferably in Biomedical Science or any other relevant fields.
EXPERIENCE
- Research grants administration/management.
- Project management from start to completion of projects.
- Familiarity with Singapore’s biomedical research landscape.
- Good written and oral communication skills and ability to multi-task.
- Meticulous, detail-oriented, responsible and able to work independently yet a team player.
- Excellent organization and problem-solving skills with the ability to respond effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good interpersonal skills, pleasant personality with good working attitude.
- Good working knowledge of MS office applications.
