We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects in the general commercial, multi-family, and medical sectors. As a Senior Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our organization by providing accurate and detailed estimates for construction projects. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a high level of expertise in full bids and preconstruction conceptual budgets. Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and comprehensive estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information and ensure accurate estimates.
• Review project plans and specifications to identify potential issues and discrepancies.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to gather information for estimating purposes.
• Utilize industry-leading software and tools to generate detailed estimates and proposals.
• Analyze and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.
• Assist in the development of preconstruction conceptual budgets for potential projects.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to estimating.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior estimators as needed.

Qualifications:

• 8-12 years of experience as an estimator in the construction industry.
• Extensive experience in general commercial, multi-family, and medical projects.
• Proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques.
• Proficient in using estimating software and tools.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
