Senior Engineer, Product Delivery/Production Planning

Job Description

1. Product Delivery

• Ensure products are seamlessly delivered to the clients through overseeing a variety of tasks, such as liaising with product development teams, rectifying reliability issues,  tracking KPIs like budgets and costs
• Process sales delivery requests, sequences and releases work orders related to specific product lines and/or assigned work based on material and capacity availability and customers request dates
• Work with production and other relevant personnel to assess production progress and discuss needed changes
• Revise production schedules/volumes when there is interruption such as material/labor shortage, design change, quality issue, demand change, etc in collaboration with production, sales, engineering and management
• Work with production and sales to perform capacity analysis and coordinate production and shipping activities to ensure smooth production flow and meeting customers demand
• Build and control monthly production safety stock or targeted finished goods/WIPs collaborating with production, sales and management
• Assist/prepare production budget planning

2. Material Planning

• Develop material plan to meet production and customers demand, initiate material purchase orders, monitors and expedites deliveries with material suppliers
• Work with procurement to plan for materials purchase requisition
• Monitor stock movement and material shipping schedules to ensure sufficient flow of materials and inventories for new production
• Perform detailed inventory analyses and control inventories at approved stock level
• Monitor production data and performance including actual output, raw material consumption and quality of the materials and outputs
• Assist/prepare material budget planning

Requirements

• Possess at least a Diploma in Engineering, Business or equivalent
• Preferably 5 years of experience in Production exposure and Material Planning
• Experience in budgeting and cost management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software application
• Singaporeans only
