Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance team in conducting equipment repair, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and calibration of equipment in both Inspection Centres, MINDEF camps and offsite locations to ensure minimal downtime.
• Liaise with equipment OEM and suppliers for repair, maintenance, calibration and other equipment related matters.
• Ensure work conducted in-house and outsourced is performed safely and timely.
• Conduct Risk Assessment and Work Instructions review with team members to keep processes up to date.
• Manage the stock inventory for spares and ensure proper housekeeping of spares, equipment and tools.
• Put up annual budget for maintenance, including purchase of spares.
• Tracking of equipment downtime, spare consumption and maintenance cost.
• Oversee the ISO audit in quality on equipment downtime.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience as a maintenance personnel and have the experience of leading a team
• Knowledge in the industrial equipment area is preferred.
• Possess good attitude, time management, high-level problem-solving skills and passion for continuous improvement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Minimally Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Minimum class 3 driving licence.
• Able to work well under pressure, independently or in a team environment.
