Responsibilities
- Lead the maintenance team in conducting equipment repair, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and calibration of equipment in both Inspection Centres, MINDEF camps and offsite locations to ensure minimal downtime.
- Liaise with equipment OEM and suppliers for repair, maintenance, calibration and other equipment related matters.
- Ensure work conducted in-house and outsourced is performed safely and timely.
- Conduct Risk Assessment and Work Instructions review with team members to keep processes up to date.
- Manage the stock inventory for spares and ensure proper housekeeping of spares, equipment and tools.
- Put up annual budget for maintenance, including purchase of spares.
- Tracking of equipment downtime, spare consumption and maintenance cost.
- Oversee the ISO audit in quality on equipment downtime.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience as a maintenance personnel and have the experience of leading a team
- Knowledge in the industrial equipment area is preferred.
- Possess good attitude, time management, high-level problem-solving skills and passion for continuous improvement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Minimally Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Minimum class 3 driving licence.
- Able to work well under pressure, independently or in a team environment.
