Responsibilities:
- Define, deploy and manage cloud-based workloads, security and compliance controls.
- Monitor, analyse and identify infrastructure for vulnerabilities, and applying appropriate mitigations and resolution.
- Implementing and maintaining cloud security measures, such as firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Managing cloud resources and provisioning capacity as needed
- Troubleshooting issues and providing technical support to end-users
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions that improve cloud-based applications and services
- Regularly review existing services and keeping up to date with industry trends and new cloud offerings, to prepare proposals and recommendations for enhancements and new capabilities. This may involve attending conferences, participating in training programs, and researching new technologies.
- Troubleshooting and patching OS such as Microsoft Windows (2016/2019), Red Hat Enterprise Linux (8/7/9), Microsoft Windows 10/11
Requirements:
- Degree in IT with proven technical knowledge and expertise.
- 3-5 years of relevant working experience
- Any AWS / Azure / GCP certification and knowledge will be advantageous.
- Knowledgeable in the following area will be advantageous:
- Application such as Microsoft Active Directory, Apache, Microsoft IIS
- Backup (Veritas, Symantec NetBackup) Firewall, Network appliance and Cybersecurity products
- Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure and have the ability to perform installation/configuration/scripting/administration/investigation tasks in the cloud platform.
- Strong knowledge in managing RHEL and Windows Server
