The Disneyland Resort Revenue Management & Analytics organization combines strategic and analytical thinking to drive commercial, financial, and operational value for Disney Parks by crafting business decisions in Ticketing, Resorts, Merchandise, Food & Beverage, as well as all other lines of business in the core proficiencies of yield management, forecasting, pricing, promotions, optimization, and other predictive analytic techniques using mathematical and statistical approaches.

This role reports to the Manager – Theme Park Yield Optimization.
What You Will Do
In this role, you will be a key player in our yielding efforts, managing the inventory allocations for the theme park reservation system. You will use analytics to optimize revenue and define our long-term revenue management strategies, and you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop approaches to drive growth and meet site goals. What you will do:
- Business Goal Achievement: Advise efficient inventory allocations by measuring the success of past decisions and providing science-based and actionable insights on future opportunities; manage day-to-day inventory allocation to ensure we are meeting our company goals.
- Data Visualization: Create and maintain data visualization dashboards using Tableau or similar tools to deliver insights and enable internal efficiencies.
- Data Management: Develop and maintain SQL queries and scripts for data analysis and reporting (join tables, group, and sort data, and pull relevant information from multiple data sources); continuously supervise data quality.
- Predictive Analysis & Advanced Modeling: Leverage mathematical and statistical techniques to develop predictive models that improve demand forecasts and prescriptive models that advise business decisions.
- Partner Collaboration: Collaborate within Revenue Management and across the organization (Commercial, Operations, Pricing, Finance, Forecasting, Industrial Engineering, and Technology & Digital).
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years of work experience in revenue management, industrial engineering, forecasting, pricing, or a similar analytical field
- Excellent data analysis skills with an eye towards identifying business trends to turn into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in acquiring and manipulating large amounts of data, applying sophisticated Microsoft Excel skills (including VBA), and leveraging scripting languages (SQL, python, etc.).
- Skilled in storytelling through data integration and visualization– professional experience with one or more data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to shift between technical and non-technical terminology depending on the audience.
- Ability to follow through, meet deadlines, balance multiple priorities, and perform job responsibilities accurately.
- Strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and pride in delivering quality results and understanding the business impact.
- Relationship and communication skills to effectively build partnerships, including the ability to ask questions to gain understanding and influence others with differing points of view.
- Support for park yield strategy in real-time along our park operating hours, which includes occasional remote coverage during weekends, holidays, and outside business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using statistical modeling, optimization, or data science techniques to drive business decisions and to advise new methodologies to steer strategy – hands-on experience with one or more modeling tools (R, Python, etc.)
- Prior experience with revenue management, forecasting, or pricing.
- Understanding of revenue management concepts (e.g., dilution, displacement).
Education
Minimum
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Preferred
- Masters’ degree or equivalent in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related quantitative field
The hiring range for this position in Anaheim is $101,800.00 to $124,400.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered
