ADP is hiring a Security Policy Management Sr. Analyst
Policies and Standards are foundational elements of ADP’s security program. In this role, and as a critical
member of the Global Security Organization for ADP, you will be responsible for the development,
maintenance, and evolution of ADP’s security policies and standards program.
Throughout the execution of this role, you will partner with talented security and business practitioners
globally to develop and maintain security policies and standards that are ahead of the industry.
You will manage the security policies and standards program using your writing skills, technical expertise and
background to provide advice and direction to security stakeholders, globally and across functions.
This includes the process of updating security policies and standards in relation to regulatory and subject
matter guidance.

standards, and regulations, such as COBIT 5, ISO 27001, ISO 27005, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST

WHAT YOU’LL DO:Here’s what you can expect on a typical day in the life of a Security Risk Management Manager at ADP.
● Write.
You will work with business and security associates from around the globe to drive the
creation and implementation of security policies and standards. Your role requires you to be an
expert writer to draft policies and standards and you can expect to coach others on how to
reflect ADP’s security culture in the content.
● Update.
Security policies and standards are regularly being updated to reflect increased
maturity, address identified risks, comply with regulatory changes, and respond to associate and
audit feedback. You will monitor these feedback points and work with subject matter experts
within the Global Security Organization to draft security requirements and drive the updates
through to publishing in the policy management tools.
● Maintain.
You will be responsible for maintaining the various locations where security policies
and standards are made available to our associate population.
● Review.
You will manage the annual policy and standard review process, working with policy
owners on a quarterly basis to ensure that the reviews are completed and outcomes of the
review, such as updated content, are carried through to completion.
● Communication and Awareness.
You will be responsible for driving policy and standard
awareness and communicating policies and standards to key stakeholders.
● Transformation.
You will have the opportunity to execute ADP’s security policy strategy to
improve the usability and functionality of our policy management tools, including, simplifying
the approval process, and implementing features that encourage associate engagement with
security policies and standards. You will also develop the policies and standards in a manner
that allows for improved connections in our governance, risk, and compliance program.
● Expertise.
In this role, you will be looked at as the security policy and standard expert. As such,
you will regularly receive inquiries about policies and standards from associates looking for
guidance.
One or more industry certifications, such as the CISSP, CRISC, CISM, CISA, GCIA, GSEC or related
certification, is preferred.
A college degree in information systems, computer science, or other related technology field is great but
not required.
We are looking for 3+ years of exclusive experience in writing security policies or in
performing governance, risk and compliance activities (e.g., control testing, risk assessment,
etc.).
Expert writing skills are a MUST.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
• Attention to Details. Your ability to understand security requirements, determine how they will
affect compliance with regulations and frameworks and how it applies at ADP will be necessary
to create an affective policy and standard program.
• See the Big Picture. Your ability to consume technical requirements and use your knowledge
and expertise to understand how it fits into the broader policy and standard framework will be
necessary to guide the policy owners, reduce duplication or contradiction, and promote clarity.
• Communicate Effectively. Your ability to understand security risks and frameworks and
communicate to stakeholders how to effectively write policies and standards that address the
risk and align to the frameworks will be necessary to drive the policy and standard program.
There will be times when you are working with multiple stakeholders on a policy or standard
and communication will be key to ensure collaboration and timely completion of drafted
requirements.
• Highly organized and time efficient. You will be working on multiple projects at a time and will
be expected to drive each project to completion in line with target dates. Your ability to stay
organized, work efficiently and report on progress will be necessary to be effective in this role.
