What does Facilities Senior Technician handle in ST Engineering Satellite Systems?

Facilities Senior Technician reports to the Satellite Facilities Manager to support the maintenance and operations of the Satellite integration and testing facility.

The Facilities Senior Technician responsibilities are as follows:

• Perform regular maintenance of test equipment according to the maintenance schedule.
• Arrange and supervise preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance carried out by the contractors.
• Support the operation of environmental testing of satellite or satellite components when needed.
• Arrange and supervise safety and certification of equipment and facilities such that facility complies with safety regulations.
• Ensure integration and testing areas are maintained in an orderly manner.
• Manage Workplace Safety and Health requirements and compliance implementation
• Engage with regulatory authorities on building and facilities compliance, and lead in the compliance process to meet statutory legal requirements

Who You Are?

• Technical Cert /Diploma’s holder in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related subjects
• Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience in Manufacturing/Building Facility Maintenance/Engineering test facilities, preferable with some experience performing environmental test such as thermal cycling or vibration test.
• Good knowledge of working efficiency, quality, safety & health environment
• Analytical with strong problem solving, communication and people skills
• Able to commit working on weekends and public holidays whenever necessary
• Basic knowledge in computer skills using Microsoft Office, including MS Word, MS excel, MS outlook…etc
