About the Role & Program
Central Florida Sales aims to boost ticket sales in the tourist corridors of Central Florida by enhancing the visibility and accessibility of Disney ticket products. We work in close collaboration with a range of internal partners, including Marketing and Disney Planning Centers, as well as external clients such as Timeshare, Guest Service Desks, Good Neighbor Hotels, Vacation Rental Homes, and various Accommodation Affiliates. Our mission is to deliver the Disney Difference while consistently surpassing client expectations. Our collaborative efforts drive increased ticket sales volume, ensuring an unforgettable Disney experience for all visitors in Central Florida!

What You Will Do
As an Intern on this team, you will join a dynamic group of Cast Members dedicated to delivering impactful sales-driven communication to our clients. This role will involve fostering positive relationships with frontline ticket sellers and other guest-facing roles within the Central Florida market. Through effective collaboration, we strive to support Walt Disney World products and initiatives, ensuring their continued success in the local market. - Perform website and copyright verifications to ensure alignment guidelines set by the Company and partner with Marketing on final approvals.
- Oversee client websites to ensure that they comply with guidelines outlined in their contracts.
- Monitor and process requests for client benefit program.
- Partner with colleagues within the organization to optimally handle the endorsement of marketing materials for clients
- Develop and manage relationships key clients to ensure effective collaboration.
- Monitor poit-of-purchase displays and marketing tactics in various locations, such as hotels, resorts, vacation ownership properties, and tourist information centers. Report any issues to the appropriate service provider
- Facilitate on-the-spot product and event training for clients and OPCs (Off-Premises Contacts)
- Report weekly market activity based on feedback from internal partners. Identify potential opportunities to increase ticket sales
- Participate in and prepare communication for daily team meetings, focusing on safety, product knowledge, market trends, and business/revenue news
- Serve as a point of contact for both internal and external clients, providing customer service assistance
- Assist with answering calls and addressing inquiries related to specific programs or clients.
- Provide assistance to the Sales team while maintaining positive relationships with top accounts
- Support in coordinating third-party client agreements and soft incentives/ referral programs/comps/promotions
- Assist with the implementation and execution of new and ongoing sales and marketing programs
- Assist with ad hoc projects as needed
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication, with a passion for attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills while proactively offering ideas and solutions
- Strong partnering and relationship skills, while being able to function effectively in a highly collaborative team environment
- Proven self-starter while working independently and balancing multiple priorities
- Proficient with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Valid Driver’s License and excellent driving record, with the ability to navigate around Central Florida (occasionally involves driving to multiple locations throughout the day to visit clients)
Preferred Qualifications
- Current or prior participation in the Disney College Program, current or prior Cast Member and/or solid understanding of Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort
- Previous internship or professional work experience in Sales or similar
Education
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- Junior, Senior or a recent graduate pursuing a degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or related field

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
- Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney Program
Additional Information
- Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 through June 2025
- Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
- Transportation: Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
- Able to work full time hours (approximately 40 per week) for the duration of the internship and have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
