DPR Construction is seeking a Region Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Manager to plan, coordinate, and promote DPR’s DEI strategy and commitments. This individual will report directly to the Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Leader with a strong dotted line to the Region Leader(s), and Region Talent Leader. This role will work cross-functionally with Human Resources, Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Management, to develop, implement and embed DPR’s DEI strategy across the region. The role will partner with business unit leaders and other internal groups to support local diversity and inclusion programs, projects, events, and activities to ensure alignment with DPR’s strategic goals and mission. Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Develop, execute, and communicate comprehensive diversity plans at the region level for each Business Unit that reflect DPR’s commitment towards best-in-class people practices that promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Work closely with Region and Business Units leaders to evaluate current business strategies and operational objectives of the company, make recommendations, and serve as a key advisor as it relates to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Partner with Global Social Responsibility leadership to help design, implement and execute an overarching GSR strategy for the company, crafting relevant goals, policies, and programs.
- Establish metrics and collaborate with key leaders throughout the organization to measure success.
- Work collaboratively with other DEI professionals in the industry to build positive working relationships that can help inform our internal and external business practices.
- Support and scale DPR Employee Resource Groups.
- Facilitate DEI discussions. Participate in BU/Region team and peer group meetings. Cascade national programs into BU/Region
- Assist talent acquisition with regional diversity recruiting events and activities, including campus/college recruiting as well as key professional associations.
- Partner with talent acquisition in support of campus recruiting and region diversity workforce organizations. Identifying key region and community workforce development organizations that support the training and placement of women, minorities, veterans and under-served individuals to gain entry or sponsorship into the industry.
- Partner with Human Resources, Learning & Development and People Practices, aligning and ensure DEI principles are embedded in throughout the employee experience and life cycle.
- Fulfill position KPI’s.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess:
- 5+ years of related experience in a similar role with demonstrated success.
- Experience managing and supporting Employee Resource Groups (ERG).
- Experience in diverse talent acquisition and talent management practices.
- Experience cultivating a culture of diversity and inclusion through training, education, consultation, coaching and collaboration.
- Effective participation in a team environment. Ability to collaborate with team members at all levels of the organization, partner with and influence team members to enhance inclusive business and operational best practices.
- Initiative-taker, excellent time management, project management and organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, including public speaking, facilitation, and web-based/virtual skills.
- Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to understand, communicate with and effectively interact with people across diverse cultures.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, navigate complexities, find common ground, and build consensus.
- Ability to identify and resolve complex issues. Proactive and responsive critical thinking skills.
- Proficient computer skills and adaptable to technology.
- Ability to travel domestically.
- Local candidates are preferred.

Travel: 40 – 60%
This role travels extensively throughout the region. In-person presence is required at business unit offices and on project sites. Travel is also required (domestically) for meetings, conferences, and other external events/activities.

Anticipated starting pay range: between $111,121 and $166,823
