Summary
We are looking for a talented and experienced Vulnerability Management Automation App Developer in Python to join our team and work on a project for our client, one of our clients. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying a web-based application that automates the vulnerability management process and integrates with various security tools. You will also collaborate with other developers, cybersecurity experts, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the client’s needs and expectations.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze the current state of vulnerability management posture and processes at client.
- Define the future state requirements for the Vulnerability Management Automation Application and contribute to the roadmap planning.
- Develop source code and related components for the front end, back end, database, data lake, workflows, dashboards, and integrations of the application using Python and other technologies.
- Integrate the application with various vulnerability scanning tools used by client, such as Qualys, Amazon Inspector, etc.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, quality standards, and best practices.
- Test the application with a subset of existing critical vulnerabilities and fix any defects identified by DII or Client.
- Work on the go-live planning and support the go-live activities.
- Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to Client.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in developing web-based enterprise applications using Python and related frameworks and libraries.
- Some experience in working with cybersecurity tools and solutions, especially vulnerability management and scanning tools.
- Strong knowledge of web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, etc.
- Strong knowledge of database and data lake technologies, such as SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, Hadoop, etc.
- Strong knowledge of web services and APIs, such as REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, etc.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.
- Strong knowledge of agile development methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work remotely and across different time zones.
