Job Details
Currently seeking an experienced Project Manager – Mechanical/HVAC- to manage local and nationwide plan/spec and design/build projects.
Projects include: multifamily, senior living, food and beverage distribution, healthcare, office/warehouse, industrial and commercial.
This position will be responsible for all aspects of Mechanical and HVAC construction & installation, including all mechanical piping and sheet metal systems, equipment, subcontractors, rentals, and all temperature controls.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of HVAC projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and scope management.
- Attend all project-required coordination meetings with general contractor and other subcontractors
- Attend weekly project management meetings
- Establish and maintain organized project files per company procedures; document all pertinent conversations in writing
- Ensure compliance with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, and design teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Communicate regularly with clients to ensure project goals are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Oversee project risks and develop and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and submittals.
- Provide technical expertise and leadership to the project team.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure project success.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure project progress and quality.
Requirements
- 5 + years experience as HVAC Project Manager
- 8+ years of experience in the HVAC industry
- Experince on commercial / multifamily construction projects
- Experience managing mechanical projects 1 million and above.
- Ability to travel (up to 25%)
- High school diploma required.
