Job Summary:
Disney Entertainment Television is seeking a Project Manager to join the Creative Operations team, to coordinate across creative and marketing teams to manage and lead the full scope of campaign deliverables. Creative will cover the creative organization including brand and content work for ABC, Hulu Originals and Brand, Onyx Collective, and more. As the primary link between Creative and Strategy teams within the Disney Entertainment Television Marketing organization, you’ll empower the collaborative efforts of the strategists and creatives, ensuring the realization of creative for full 360 campaigns. Alongside the Campaign Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end journey of campaigns, ensuring that we stay on strategy, schedule and budget. Responsibilities
- Comprehensive management of day-to-day campaign and creative development workflows, safeguarding projects’ adherence to schedules and budgets across multiple teams and disciplines, and functioning as the connective tissue between strategy, creative, media, legal, finishing and other crucial stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Campaign Managers to execute campaign initiatives, ensuring alignment with project timelines, creative vision, and budget constraints.
- Foster seamless cross-team collaboration involving Marketing, Corporate, Synergy, Sales, Research, Channels, External Agencies, and Creatives to deliver high-quality marketing materials with efficiency and scale.
- Master Airtable tools for project coordination, workflow and management.
- Continue to find ways to streamline the production process and lead the way in standardizing processes and procedures to maximize efficiency.
- Nurture a culture of innovation that inspires novel creative approaches and marketing prospects, driving brand and content expansion, audience engagement, and viewer retention.
- Consider brand, performance, business, and KPI requirements while overseeing and guiding campaign initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a professional advertising, agency, or marketing environment.
- Proficiency in managing workloads for designers, editors, and front-end developers.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey thoughts and concepts effectively.
- Strong grasp of project management principles, thriving under pressure, and making real-time decisions to meet tight deadlines.
- Aptitude for providing and receiving constructive feedback to foster growth in all creative endeavors.
- Proficient in presentations and written documentation.
- Adaptability to a dynamic work environment with a keen eye for detail, accuracy, and quality.
- Aesthetic discernment aligned with strategic objectives.
- Demonstrated passion for continuous learning and innovation.
- Diplomacy and tact are key to success in this cross functional environment.
- Understanding of digital, video, and print asset creation and approval cycles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and coding languages such as HTML5.
- Experience with Airtable, Jira, and/or Google Office Suite.
- Proficiency in both Macintosh and PC platforms, including file preparation for each.
The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA is $84,500 to $113,300 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
