We are seeking a Project Manager for the southern Connecticut market with a strong history of experience representing owners on Higher Education and other types of capital projects. The Project Manager’s overall objective is to build and maintain a positive client relationship, and to achieve or exceed the schedule, budget and quality requirements of the project. This is a full time in person position.
- · Participate in, or leads project-specific marketing, proposal preparation and presentations for successful project selection.
- · Develop and manage the project execution plan.
- · Manage all project activities including project scope, schedule, cost, cash flow, quality, communications, coordination, manpower, procurement, and risk elements required to optimize client service, quality, and fiscal responsibility.
- · Establish contractor-client liaison network to keep interested parties informed of project planning, start date, and work and budget progress.
- · Hold regularly-scheduled project progress meetings to review team performance and make sure that the client’s expectations are being met.

Required Skills:
- · 4-year degree in building construction, engineering, architecture, facilities management or a related field
- · Minimum of 10 years of project management experience in the design, construction of facilities within the Higher Education and/or Public Sector market
- · Exceptional technical and project management skills related to the planning, design and construction process.
- · Ability to ensure that all project objectives are achieved.
- · Capability to manage competing demands on multiple client projects simultaneously.
- · Ability to prioritize and handle challenges on an independent basis.
- · Comfortable managing meetings, presenting data and participating and presenting in interviews.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Light work: Lift up to 20 lbs. at a time and frequently lift or carry objects 10 lbs. or more. Standing-prolonged periods of time. Repetitive Motion-substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Close Visual Acuity-work includes data/figures; view a computer screen; extensive reading. Mobility around a job/construction site to include walking, bending, crawling, climbing, squatting, or kneeling and wearing of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Compensation Range:$109,063.00 – $145,418.00
