Project Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Creating detailed engineering designs by transforming conceptual ideas and requirements into safe, innovative and practical ordnance products.
• Utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software and other Modelling and Simulation Tools for drawings & stress analyses (FEM)
• Conducting detailed depth technical analysis thorough simulations, calculations and fabrication & firing prototype trials to evaluate the performance of the design specifications and provide solutions to improve product designs.
• Working closely with multidisciplinary teams including team members, managers, contractors and Customers on project requirements.
• Generating technical documentation, including design & trial reports, specifications and drawings.

Requirements:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering and should possess a strong mechanical foundation
• Knowledge of SOLIDWORKS and any simulation tools is preferred
• Excellent problem-solving and creativity skills for refining engineering designs
• Effective communication and leadership skills
• Strong team player who does not mind field trials and activities
