Role description:
Arcadis is currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Project Cost Estimator to join our team. As a Senior Project Cost Estimator, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and reliable cost estimates for a variety of construction projects.
Role accountabilities:
The Senior Project Cost Estimator plans, supervises, and participates in preparing construction cost estimates based on drawings and specifications. They review cost estimates for grants and loans, compare architect/engineer estimates with district estimates, resolve differences through negotiations, analyze contractor bids, approve or reject change orders, establish bidding procedures, maintain construction cost data, conduct seminars, estimate damages, and establish budgets for school building projects.
Qualifications & Experience:
Applicants for this role must have a minimum of eight (8) years of full-time paid professional experience in Construction Scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor, preferably in educational facility or public works projects. Proficiency in the latest version of Primavera and the MS Office Suite is required. The minimum educational requirement is a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management from a recognized college or university. However, candidates with a bachelor’s degree in any field can compensate for the required education by having an additional two years of experience in the specified duties.

The salary range for this position is $112,240 – $168,360.
