Product Development Mechanical Engineer

As our Product Development Mechanical Engineer, you will join a team of specialised engineers to design, develop, test, and operationalise our indigenous and robustness cybersecurity products.

Job Description

• We are looking for a hands-on and meticulous individual who possess knowledge on mechanical design and development:
• Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs for new products

• interpret client requirements, identify, and address design parameters and engineering problems and ensure solutions are implemented accurately and in budget.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors
• Identify and manage vendors during fabrication and build process
• Design Verification Testing

• Work closely with all the relevant stakeholders to translate the operational requirements into effective and efficient solutions.
• Work as a product development team to collectively manage the product development lifecycle from system design, development testing, and production.

Requirements

• Candidate should possess a Degree or Diploma in the field of mechanical engineering or in a related field.
• Experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar
• Experience with thermal simulation will be an added advantage
• Soft skills – Problem Solving, Communication and Teamwork Skills
