What you will be doing

Leads crew of hourly workers on a project site and manages safety, planning, production and performance of directed construction tasks.

• Performs onsite coordination of labor activities, materials and equipment. Requests materials needed for scope of work.
• Supports safety procedures and regulations for assigned personnel and sub-contractors.
• Understands daily production schedule and adjusts work to meet schedule and cost parameters.
• Maintains knowledge of Company’s values and strategic plan.
• Performs additional assignments per management’s direction.

What we are looking for

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have Valid Driver’s License.
• Must pass an airport background check if assigned to job at an airport.
• 5 years storm drain and utility construction experience
• Experience with set-up and use of pipe lasers, transits, building levels, etc… required for layout and installation of storm drainCompetent person training in trenching and excavations and familiarity with other safety standards associated with trenching and excavation.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• OHSA 10 or OHSA 30 certification
