Disney Parks Experiences and Products is looking to optimize learning programs, help business leaders reach their goals, and foster a culture of growth and development. Our Tech Talent Development team mission is to build capabilities, skills, and tech communities of practice across the DPEP Technology & Digital organization which enable Cast members to grow and make an impact on the business through innovation and technology enhancements.
This role is a Project Hire (PH) and will report to the Senior Manager, Technology (Tech Talent Development). It is Orlando based requiring support for the physical training spaces and knowledge center of the DPEP T&D organization.
What You Will Do:
- Identify and assess current and future training needs for group and individual training plans
- Design, develop, and deploy a wide variety of training methods including hands-on, classroom, custom training modules and eLearning platforms
- Manage vendor and partner delivered courses from contract execution to delivery and evaluation
- Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success and ROI and assimilate data for metrics reporting
- Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and industry practices
- Manage instructional technology to include authoring systems and online learning platforms such as D Learn
- Ensure training content meets the needs of learners
- Plan and track the most effective use of funds allocated to assigned learning projects
- Monitor projects and report on project status
- Serve as a team lead for activities and results as assigned
- Mentor team members
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Work with key partners such as leaders, learning and development peers, subject matter experts and human resources to design learning programs and experiences.
- Experience with rapid instructional systems design (ISD) technology tools such as Camtasia, Vyond, or Adobe Create Suite.
- Experience working with and making pitches to a broad range of levels – from emerging talent to executive leadership.
- Excellent knowledge of standard MS Office tools, MS Teams and MS Forms.
- Preferred experience with graphics design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator; experience working at the enterprise level in technology as well as internal client services capacity.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years experience implementing training programs and events.
- Or Master’s Degree and 3 years experience implementing training programs and events.
