Network Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Project deployment for customers’ Enterprise IT Network Services.
• Work closely with Project Manager to fulfil project deliverables.
• Able to perform the role of Project Lead for projects.
• Preferably with good knowledge and hands on experience in the following areas:
  • Design, planning, integration, implementation and validation.
  • System integration and implementation project lifecycle.
  • Troubleshooting and problem identification.
  • Support of applications and IT infrastructures.
  • LAN/WAN/WLAN: Cisco/Alcatel router, Enterprise/DC switches, WLC.
  • Network Security Solutions: Fortinet, Checkpoints, Cisco IPS/IDS, Cisco ASA, Cisco Firepower, Cisco ISE, Aruba Clearpass, Cisco ESA, Cisco WSA, Cisco SMA.
  • Network Monitoring: SolarWinds, Alcatel Omni-Vista.
  • Network Appliances based: Infoblox DNS/DHCP, F5 LTM/GTM, A10 LTM.
• Documentation skills include creating and updating detailed solution design, installation and maintenance documents.
• Develop test cases and conduct proof of concept tests on new software and hardware prior to upgrade/deployment.
• Establish TAC cases with principal vendor in complex problem till resolved.

Requirements:

• ITE / Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Security or equivalent.
• Preferably with Cisco certification, Alcatel certification, F5 LTM & Network Security products.
• Experience with LAN, WAN, WLAN, Data and Security networking in implementation.
• Fast-paced environment

• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Good communication and writing skills.
• Able to work flexible hours especially during after-office hour scheduled maintenance windows.
