Job Requirement

• Degree in engineering field preferred;
• Meticulous, highly organized and positive attitude;
• Able to process high volume of work; and
• Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel and SAP an advantage.

Job Description

• Carry out periodic provisioning (i.e. propose the replenishment level and max stock level) for materials based on historical usage and future forecast;
• Address and monitor all import related requirements from vendor (primarily those from US) and work with the end user to satisfy them;
• Manage and monitor all export related matters pertaining to subcontract work to repair vendor;
• Track and report the status of all subcontract works;
• Work with Central Procurement team on all material and vendor’s requirements;
• Work with shop managers to re-life shelf-life expired materials stored in the warehouse;
• Support project/ capability setup from Engineering in terms of materials and purchase; 
• Support the material team and look for ways to optimize the work process and flow;
• Act as the dedicated material controller to the assigned workshop;
• Work with shop manager on all materials matters (like need date and priority) and monitor/ track status till delivery;
• On a daily basis, clear the notice of requirement (NOR) triggered by SAP and raise the purchase requisitions for materials demanded by the workshop; and
• Perform issuance of materials to the workshop once receipt by warehouse.
