McCarthy is seeking a Marketing Coordinator with a focus on proposal coordination for our National Water/Wastewater Business Group. This role will be based in our Southwest office in Phoenix, AZ.
Capabilities
- A strategic individual who can partner with BD, Operations, and Marketing team members across our national business to develop best-in-class marketing deliverables, including proposals, interviews, presentations, event support, award submissions, graphics, and more.
- Strong project management skills, including time management, communication, organization, and proactiveness.
- Demonstrates a well-rounded balance of creativity and process-driven skills.
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative, in-person environment.
- Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects simultaneously, occasionally across state lines, including meeting deadlines for various groups.
- A flexible individual willing to travel to support regional and national marketing efforts.
Technical Skills
- Understanding of and ability to execute pursuit and proposal strategies to deliver high-quality project-specific content.
- Experience managing the proposal and interview process including the ability to lead a team through story boarding and messaging exercises to build a compelling client-focused strategy.
- In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Strong facilitation skills with a proven ability to develop marketing deliverables in a live, collaborative environment.
- Strong writing skills, particularly for proposals and advertising efforts.
- Strong graphic design skills with the ability to quickly create custom graphics aligned with the brand.
- Understanding and experience using CRM databases (Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a plus).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a related marketing role, preparing proposals, presentations, communications, and other marketing collateral.
- Proficiency in all Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft applications (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop are a plus).
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and project management skills.
- A desire to work in the construction industry, collaborate effectively, and play a key role in helping grow the business.
- Willingness to travel to support regional efforts across the country.
