McCarthy Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Marketing Communications Manager with experience in marketing, public relations, project management, technical and creative writing, and media relations. This position will support McCarthy and its subsidiaries and will be part of the Corporate Marketing Communications Department.
CAPABILITIES

TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Experience developing and implementing strategic marketing communications strategies, campaigns and messaging in alignment with brand identity.
- Strong technical and creative writing skills, preferably but not limited to within the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industries.
- Established media relations experience, preferably but not limited to within Architecture/Engineering/Construction industries and general business media.
- Comfortable conducting client, industry and market research to support the development of PR and marketing strategies.
- Experience developing and managing editorial calendar for national media outreach and thought leadership campaigns.
- Experience generating marketing content for news releases, newsletters, collateral, website, thought leadership content and blogs all while maintaining brand voice and consistency to ensure alignment across all touchpoints.
- Strong proficiency in digital marketing channels and tools, including social.
- Proficient tracking and analyzing performance of marketing strategies, utilizing insights to optimize messaging, engagement, and overall effectiveness.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or related field.
- 5 or more years of previous experience in similar role managing marketing campaigns, media relations, and writing.
- Experience in creative and technical writing including personnel and project press releases, industry publications and articles, thought leadership content and strategy and overall messaging development in alignment with branding.
- Experience responding to media inquiries, coordinating and facilitating interviews, briefing materials, press releases, thought leadership and newsletter articles, social media, listings/rankings, award submissions, and overall external messaging and campaign development.
- Exceptional writing skills.
- Experience with media monitoring platforms. Meltwater is a plus.
